The green and yellow flag will appear at the most important final table of WCOOP 2023. The man responsible for representing Brazilian poker will be a very capable player who has been lighting up the country’s poker scene for over a decade: Kelvin Kerber. The partner and founder of Samba Team is a FT member of the PokerStars Series Main Event High.

“Kelvin_FP:AR” managed to make it through 600 entries in the $10,300 buy-in tournament to become one of the final nine contenders for the title. The man from Santa Catarina enters the tournament with the sixth-largest chip stack. He has 11,586,558 chips, which is equivalent to 57 big blinds. As was the case throughout the tournament, Kelvin had to face stiff competition to claim the title.

The chip leader is Ivan Stokes, “ILS007”, the inventor of Poker Detox. The Brit has mentored many Brazilian poker stars and has an impressive 31,727,368 chips. Behind him is German Leonard Maue, who has been outstanding this year. He is the “Grozzorg” of online poker with 25,827,094 chips. In third place in chips is the legendary Niklas Astedt. “Lena900” has 23,258,260.

Kerber There is also a competitor from Argentina. Veteran Juan Pastor “xPastorcitox” is fifth with 15,344,772. The three players trailing Kelvin in chip count are also used to big decisions: Norway’s Kayhan Mokri (who completed EPT Barcelona last year with Fabiano Kovalski), Canada’s Jamil Wakil and Austria’s Mario Mosboeck.

All finalists it has earned $94,330, but the goal is to win the title and the insane $1,047,257 reserved for the overall winner. The grand decider will take place this Wednesday (04) at 1:30 pm and will be broadcast live by MundoTV under the direction of JP Fernandes. The blinds are back to 100,000/200,000.
